Overview
Ed Kemper Trio was a rock band based in Montgomery, Alabama, formed in 1997. EK3’s sound featured short asymmetrical song structures, volume, and odd meters. They played hundreds of shows, including four Southern/East Coast/Midwest tours and released recordings on Tulsa’s Yawn Records and Atlanta’s Moodswing. The band was also the focus of the 2004 independently produced documentary “People Will Eat Anything” directed by Shane Gillis.
